What is the pastoral care system?
Pastoral care means we use a holistic approach to address the personal, emotional, social, intellectual and moral needs of every pupil. As a result pupils show genuine concern for each other and grow strong in self-awareness and self-esteem.

Yes, pupils can start at any date throughout the year.
Is there an application fee?
No, there is no fee for an application to Sage College.
From what age does the school accept children?
Sage College is open to all children from age 18 months – 18 years.
What are the school hours?
School opens for drop off at 8:30 Hrs.
School begins at 9:00 Hrs. and ends at 17:00 Hrs.
Early Years department is happy to accommodate a reduced time table if required.
Does the school have a bus service?
Yes, Sage College provides a comprehensive private bus service to and from Jerez and the surrounding areas at an extra cost. All students using this service are supervised.

Are there after school activities?
An extensive program of after school and lunchtime activities enriches the Sage College experience.
Do pupils wear uniform?
Yes, all students from nursery up to Year 11 are required to wear a school uniform.
Year12-13 students are allowed the privilege of wearing their own clothes whilst respecting the school dress code.
How much Spanish will my child study?
Spanish is compulsory in all years up to the end of year 11.
Are all classes taught in English?
Yes, all classes are taught in English (except language classes).
Is my child expected to speak perfect English to gain admission to the school?
No. We welcome many non-native speakers of English to the Sage College. We provide support in the form of EAL (English as an Additional Language) and have a program of Intensive English.
How do you cater to the needs of your most able pupils?
We offer our most able students the chance to be involved in more stretching and challenging activities, providing extension, enrichment and acceleration within the curriculum and within extra – curricular activities.
Is learning support available?
Yes, the special educational needs of students with specific learning difficulties are addressed either individually or in small groups.
What certificate/qualification will my child leave with at the end of his schooling at Sage College?
The qualifications we offer at Sage College are the Spanish certificate of secondary education, the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), Advanced Subsidiary (AS) and Advanced Level (A Level).
Will my child be able to gain entry into Universities around the world?
Yes, Sage College students have been successfully accepted by prestigious universities in the UK and Spain.
